Lime Green & Turquoise Day...

I'm a bit of a Valentine's Day Scrooge. I could go on and on, but I've just never liked it. So, at some point I declared my own anti-Valentine's Day holiday. I wear lime green & turquoise (I just picked my two favourite colours ha) and listen to anti-Valentine's Day tunes. A friend of mine even used to make me mix CDs for the occasion! Now I just make playlists on my phone. Oh, how times have changed.

I hadn't even realized that this outfit is pretty perfect for my holiday until just now! These photos are from a couple weeks ago when I got tired of taking photos in my tiny, uninspiring yard and went over to my parents' house instead. I decided I'm going to over there at least once a weekend for photos. They have an acre with woods, a path, a field, some old fencing... The photo spot possibilities are endless... and private! Living in a sardine can of a development is definitely wearing on me.

(Pink Owl dress from Hautelook, ModCloth cardigan, vintage belt, Target tights, same shoes)
Whether you celebrate something today or it's just another Friday, I hope you've had a lovely day!

  2. From the first photo I was in love with this dress and the whole outfit, then the close up and I'm so much more in love. The patterns are crazy yet it all goes to well together. I need to get myself some tights in that colour too!!

  5. Oh my, I want your dress! That print is so neat and I love all the colours. I love the light green cardi you paired with it too. And you're not alone. I've never been one for Valentine's Day. Commercial mumbo jumbo.
