This outfit is a direct result of having 90% of my wardrobe in the wash or hanging to dry (my allergic reaction was caused by a couple of chemicals, one very common, the other not so much, found in hand soap/cleaning products/everything in my house... which meant I proceeded to wash ALL the things to get rid of them). And, I have to say, it's one of my favourites so far!
I just bought a bunch of new tights from ModCloth to replace my many ripped pairs, and this is the pair I love most. For whatever reason, I knew I wanted to pair them with this mint skirt. And so, just as the solution to this month long medical mystery came to me (seriously, I was getting ready for bed around midnight one night when it hit me... It was a random hand soap I'd picked up around Christmas. A three day (horribly itchy!) patch test helped pinpoint the exact substances), so did this outfit.
(Olive & Oak from HauteLook blouse, ModCloth skirt & tights, vintage boots)
Glad to hear that you got to the bottom of what was causing the problem. It often takes ages to identify what is responsible!
ReplyDeleteI love the outfit - green is one of my favourite colours.

Oh, good thing you finally figured out the cause of it all! I'm happy to hear that :) I've also been feeling less connected blog-wise lately. I'm blaming it on the relentless cold weather, hah!
ReplyDeleteYou look great here and I think this may be a favourite of mine! Like I always say, you look fabulous in green and that skirt is so precious! And those boots - I want!
I'm glad you finally figured it out!! Hopefully it's not too much to alter your hand soap and such. Did you find out the exact chemical? Or just the general soap/cleaner...
ReplyDeleteI'm so in love with mint green lately! Such a beautiful skirt!
