A shot of whiskey...

Happy Friday, doves!

Anybody doing anything for St. Patrick's Day weekend? This is the first time in seven years I'm not going to Boston! That's quite a bummer. I actually don't have anything planned at all except that I'm going for my first shiatsu on Sunday! It's a far cry from my usual St. Patrick's Day shenanigans, but I'm excited for it!

So, I've had this dress (it's sold out, but I wanted to show you what it looks like with the collar) sitting in my closet for a while now. I've seen many people wear it in the ModCloth Style Gallery, and because of that, I decided to wait until I thought of a different way to wear it. So, it hit me to tuck under the collar. We all know I love green & copper (or whiskey! Mmm, whiskey...) together, and this old F21 top fit the bill perfectly. Right colour, a wee pattern, and a collar!
(ModCloth dress, F21 blouse, Sock Dreams socks, Adrienne Vittadini shoes)
Now that I have more opportunities to take photos, I'm going to try to post three times a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). I think that's a good schedule.

Have a lovely weekend!

  1. Not really someone to celebrate St. Patricks day, so no plans there ;)

The dress is a lovely green colour and it has the perfect collar shape here to fit a nice blouse underneath. I love how the blouse also peeks out of the sleeves to.
I think I prefer it without the collar.

    1. I agree! I'm going to see how easily the collar will come off. I'm always up for a wee bit of deconstruction :)

  2. St. Pat's is usually a day for reflection on that part of my heritage, I wear green but don't do much else. I so love the shade this dress is, it's so much more versatile with the collar tucked and the addition of whiskey is a great one (especially with your hair color)! :)

    1. That's a wonderful way to spend the day :) Thank you, dear!

  3. That dress is so perfect on you <3 Fantastic color and I love the printed top peeking out at the sleeves. Well done!
