Geometric shift...

Hello, dears! I have to say, I'm thrilled to have two posts up in one week! It's a summer miracle or something. I've been in an odd mood of late. Does anyone else ever get nostalgic but antsy for change at the same time? I think the changing of the seasons does that to me. I'm nostalgic for my lazy, hazy, beach bumming summers of years past, but I'm also looking forward to cool nights and bike rides and Halloween.

And speaking of change, I'm also restarting my search for a new job. I'm grateful to have gotten this job when I did. But when life gets crazy, it's easy to become lazy and complacent. And this job isn't a career; it's not even a direction, really. So, it's definitely time to get back to the hunt. Onward and upward! Hopefully.

This dress is also a bit of a change from my normal style (... whatever that may be). I've actually had it for a while, but I kept forgetting to shoot it. It might be the most comfortable dress I own, and it fits like a glove. I love all of the different designs and shapes (especially the ones that look like piano keys)!
(Knitted Dove blazer, Pink Owl dress from HauteLook, ModCloth heels)

Hope you all have a great weekend!

  2. This is the coolest dress! I just love dresses that have a multitude of colour - makes matching super easy! And this blazer has to be the cutest thing I ever did see, the detailing with the white stitching and big buttons is lovely.
