Caped (Cold) Crusader...

Can we just talk about this cape for a second?! Last year I went on an etsy search for the perfect cape. I don't think it took me too long to decide on this one from Sally Jane Vintage because, well, it really is perfect. The designs are gorgeous, and it's wonderfully warm. I have to say, I always seem to have the best luck in Jennifer's shop. It's been a favourite for years now (as has her blog!).

This past weekend was windy and frigid. To the point where I had to warm up in the house four times and drink an Irish coffee before I finished taking these photos. But on Sunday we finally got some sun! So, I do quite like how they turned out.

Hope you're having a lovely (and not freezing cold!) week, doves!

  1. Oh my goodness! What a lovely piece! I really like it worn open, with just the the top button done. The outfit underneath is gorgeous too.

  2. I love that caaape! You and Katie (http://alaskanweredork.blogspot.com) are making me yearn for one of my own. . .

  3. Aww, you look perfect! Just perfect. I wouldn't change a thing about this ensemble! That cape and skirt are gorgeous and I love your boots. And again you're in green: yay! Honestly, if you were a cartoon your everyday outfit should consist of some green!

  4. That cape is so fantastic! Gorgeous! This is a beautiful cozy chic look and the skirt is rockin'!
